Emmanuel which means ‘God is with us’ was founded by Mrs. Martha M Panjwani, a registered and qualified nurse from Maharashtra Nursing Council, in the year 1984.
She completed her General Nursing from Wai Mission Hospital, Satara and her Maternity training from Sion Hospital, Mumbai. She started serving her patients relentlessly through various hospitals and private duties. Her quest and eagerness took her to London to explore the medical services there. From then on there was only moving ahead, which led to the foundation of Santacruz Nurses Bureau with a hostel residing 120 nurses in the year 1978-84.
It has been more than three decades now that Emmanuel Nurses Bureau is dedicated to the safe-keeping of others, providing high degree of care and responsibility through nursing and attendant services.
Besides running the bureau, Sister Martha with her two daughters, Mrs. Siddika Soundade and Mrs. Shamira Khan have modernized the services to offer utmost comfort, as well as engaging in community work.
We cater to twelve hours shifts that is from 8 AM to 8 PM for the day and 8 PM to 8 AM for night. Provision available for 24 hours service also for both nurses and attendant.
